RobuSinter research project

Through the Robusinter research project, we want to conserve natural resources and improve the framework conditions for our employees.

The optimization of the robustness of the compression process through adaptive manufacturing is an important step in the extension of our Digital and Adaptive Value Stream.

In cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT in Aachen and the Chair for Digital Additive Production DAP of RWTH Aachen University, GKN is supporting the Research Project "Industrialization and Digitization of Additive Manufacturing (AM)" for Automobile Series Processes.

NeStPEL research project

For green hydrogen from renewable energies, GKN is supporting research into water splitting with electricity into oxygen (O2) and Hydrogen (H).

In cooperation with the Forschungszentrum Jülich in Germany we are working on this project and contribute our know-how by developing compact and flexible porous titanium solutions for higher system efficiency.

SUPREME research project

The SUPREME project aims to optimize Powder Metallurgy processes throughout the value chain and focuses on a combination of fast-growing industrial production routes and advanced ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
