The British Ambassador of Germany, Sir Sebastian Wood, visited the GKN Sinter Metals site in Bonn, Germany, last week.

The British Ambassardor visits GKN Sinter Metals in Bonn, Germany

GKN employs approximately 4,000 people at several locations in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), Germany. To provide the Ambassador with a comprehensive overview of regional current developments across the Group, representatives from GKN Driveline in Lohmar attended the reception in addition to the management team in Bonn.

The ambassador was particularly interested in current innovation strategies and future projects. He was given a tour through the production halls and innovation showroom and showed particular interest in GKN's R&D activities in Additive Manufacturing (Metal 3D Printing), Electromobility and Industry 4.0.
