Experience

James joined GKN Powder Metallurgy in June 2024 as President, Acceleration Platforms, Strategy, and Corporate Development. In 2025, he was appointed President, Acceleration Platforms & Powders, expanding his leadership responsibilities across key growth areas of the business.

Prior to joining GKN Powder Metallurgy, James served as Chief Strategy Officer at Dowlais Group plc. He also held senior roles at GKN Automotive, including Chief Strategy Officer and Chief of Staff. With extensive experience in business strategy and management consulting, James has a proven track record of driving transformational growth.

He holds an MBA from Imperial College Business School, London, and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London.
