Appointed to the Executive Team, GKN Powder Metallurgy in November 2020.

Experience

Matthias joined GKN in 1997 as a Sales Engineer. In 2007, he was appointed Plant Manager, and from 2014 to 2018, he served as Vice President of Operations, overseeing several German sites. In December 2018, he was named Senior Vice President of GKN Hoeganaes. Most recently, in 2025, Matthias was appointed to President, Manufacturing Services & Purchasing.

He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) from the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Hamburg, Germany.
