GKN Sinter Metals India has earned the Best Supplier Award for the Year 2022 from Mando. 

GKN Hortolândia received the 2022 Supplier Excellence Award from Pierburg Brazil.

GKN India received "Best Supplier Award for DOL parts" from Gabrial India Limited, and also recognized with another award, for securing >90% score in their EHS compliance audit for the year 2022. 

GKN Sinter Metals Hortolândia, Brazil, received the 2022 Quality Award from NSG Group.

GKN Sinter Metals Danyang & Yizheng received the 2022 Zhixin Tech Supplier Excellence Award.

For the 6th consecutive year, GKN Sinter Metals Conover has earned General Motor's Supplier Quality Excellence Award. General Motors uses this award to recognize its valued suppliers for outstanding performance during the fiscal year of 2022.

For the 5th consecutive year, GKN Sinter Metals Conover has earned General Motor's Supplier Quality Excellence Award. General Motors uses this award to recognize its valued suppliers for outstanding performance during the fiscal year of 2021.

GKN Sinter Metals in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin has earned the 2020 Perfect Quality Award from Nexteer for achieving zero quality claims over all product groups from a specific location.

GKN India has earned the Best Support on Localization Award from Mando India Limited for the team's support in localizing production in 2020. 

GKN India has earned the Supplier Performance Award from Honda Siel Power Products LTD in India for the team's overall quality and delivery performance  throughout 2020. They were also honored with a second award for their excellence in Best Practice.

GKN India Pune plant has earned a Recognition Award from Ford India Private Ltd for the team's contribution towards achieving Zero QR and Zero Warranty Claims throughout 2020. 

GKN India received a certificate of appreciation from Knorr-Bremse for the team's efforts to supply parts during the Covid 19 pandemic in 2020. 

In 2020, Ford Motor Company recognized GKN Sinter Metals Emporium as one of the top 100 best managed companies for its 2019 performance.

GKN Hoeganaes in Gallatin, Tennessee has earned the 2019 Carbon Reduction Award from the Tennessee Valley Authority for having a significant impact on carbon reduction as a result of lowering the location's peak in demand.

GKN Sinter Metals’ team in Danyang (China) has received the 2019 Excellent Supplier Award from Getrag Jiangxi Transmission. The award recognizes good QCD performance.

GKN India has earned the Best Response to Development Award from customer Gabrial India Limited for the team's timely and effective communication and production throughout 2019. 

GKN Sinter Metals’ team in Conover (USA) has received the Quality Service Award of Excellence from GM. The award recognizes the good performance in 2018 and was received the second year in a row. GKN showed 0 defects in parts and components and was meeting 13 GM requirements for above standard performance.

GKN Sinter Metals’ team in Brazil has received the Cost Reduction Achivement Performance Certificate from Aisin AI Brazil. The award recognizes the cost reduction achievement performance.

GKN Sinter Metals’ team in India has received the 2019 Certificate of Appreciation from Fiat India Automobiles Private Limited. The award  recognizes the Zero PPM and zero warranty performance in 2018.

GKN Sinter Metals’ team in St. Marys, PA and Menomonee Falls have received the Perfect Quality Awards 2019 from Nexteer. The award recognizes the good performance with no quality claims across all products provided from a specific plan.

GKN Sinter Metals’ team in Yizheng has received the 2018 Excellent Supplier Award from Getrag Dongfeng. The award recognizes outstanding performance in quality, delivery and customer cooperation. GKN Sinter Metals Yizheng has delivered over 900,00 sets of oil pumps to Getrag Dongfeng since 2016.

GKN Sinter Metals’ team in Hortolandia has received a Recognition of Quality from Bosch. The award recognizes the improvement in quality from 2016 to 2017.

GKN Sinter Metals’ team in Conover has received the Supplier Quality Award 2019 from GM. The award recognizes the good performance in 2017.

GKN Sinter Metals’ team in Danyang (China) has received the Regional Supplier Award 2018 from Jatco. The award recognizes the good performance with no quality issue over the last year and a half.

GKN Sinter Metals’ team in Bruneck, Italy has received the Key Supplier Award 2019 from Brose. 

GKN Sinter Metals has been recognized by Jatco with the Regional Quality Award for efforts in the supplier’s Japanese business. Each year, Jatco awards companies that produce over a 15 month period with a defect rate of zero parts per million (PPM). GKN’s 2017 Quality Award is the first of its recognition from Jatco. Jatco, a tier-one automotive supplier and manufacturer of automotive transmissions, has partnered with GKN since 2009.

The award highlights the excellent quality and delivery performance from different GKN plants as well as the good development partnership on new projects.

GKN Sinter Metals has been recognized by Nexteer Automotive with a Perfect Quality Award. Nexteer acknowledges companies that supply products with zero defects over a 12 month period. This is the first recognition from Nexteer for GKN's Salem location.

GKN Sinter Metals has received the Best Supplier Award for its quality performance by Somfy, the global market leader in automatic awnings and shutters for buildings. Over recent years, GKN has been a key supplier for Somfy's manufactured shutters. The award recognizes the outstanding performance of GKN Sinter Metals' site in Bruneck, Italy which manufactures high-class planetary gears and components for Somfy´s electrical shutter motors. Since 2014, GKN Sinter Metals Bruneck has shipped over 75 million parts and components with a defective rate of below 10 ppm, which highlights the precision, reliability and cost effectiveness achieved with sinter metal technology in industrial applications.

Receiving this award for sustained high quality and delivery reliabilty marks the positive outcome of a demanding supply situation. Over the past 4 year,s GKN´s business with ThyssenKrupp Bilstein grew in an unexpected way by more than 60% and required a dedicated management to ensure both, meeting high quality standards and reliable delivery.

The award recognizes GKN Sinter Metals' capability to act as a strong engineering partner. Together with the customer, GKN engineers developed a new generation of Pistons and Base Valves for shock absorbers that required the capability to manufacture at extremely close tolerances that haven´t been realised before.

GKN Sinter Metals' locations in Gallipolis, Ohio and Germantown, Wisconsin were recognized by GM with the 2016 Supplier Quality Excellence Award. GM chose GKN Sinter Metals for the recognition due to a strong commitment in quality excellence.
