Design for AM
Simulation driven virtual product development
End-to-end support in the design and simulation of new products to deliver 3Dprinted parts that meet the strength requirements for any application.
At the Formnext, we'll showcase exciting exhibits, like an Aluminum bicycle crank that has been created with a strong simulation-driven approach. This project has just been awarded for its fatigue-resistant design.
Industrialization of AM
Are you ready for serial production in AM?
We're driving the global industrialization of laser and binder technology for full- cale production.

- Robust products
- Robust production
Revealing the simulation-driven approach behind a 3D-printed bicycle crank
We’ve redesigned a bicycle pedal crank for additive manufacturing with a simulation-driven approach. Since this is a fatigue-loaded and weight-sensitive part, it allowed us to work with different CAE tools like topology optimization, stress analysis and reduction, and fatigue evaluation.Click here to read the case study
